Lisa’s Story
It all began from a very early age where my passion for unique design sparked something within me, giving me great joy in making and gifting some of my creations and designs to the people nearest and dearest to me. Later in life wanting to turn this hobby into something more and to creating projects to share with the world.
Hi, I’m Lisa Bancroft-Mitchell and I am the creator and business owner of Luna Salt. An avid crafter and daring DIY-er (there’s no project I won’t tackle!). Born in the UK and then immigrated to Gold Coast Australia in 2010, with my husband and three children, having made a healthy and happy life for ourselves in Oz.
I am a qualified nurse of 25 years, I then transitioned to supporting and aiding dis-engaged teenagers while still pursuing my spirituality and creativity when time allowed. Always a believer in the teaching of positive energy, spreading happiness and giving back to the world where and when able to do so.
I am absolutely thrilled to say that there has been a further transition in my life (just like the phases of the moon), that I finally get to fulfill my long time dream, teaching and creating, paying forward the handmade and handpicked gifts of love, care and high vibes of our natural beauties of the world

We believe in the power of energy and intention, each piece we create is designed to empower our customers, so they can acknowledge their innate & unique magic they behold, whether it’s wearing your chosen creation our wish is that is encourages you to live a beautiful life of purpose & truth.
We only believe in promoting and doing what we love, authentically, so you will never see us following the crowd or selling something just because it’s popular or in fashion, if it doesn’t resonate with us, we can’t and won’t endorse it, so what we offer is always something that comes from our hearts, to theirs.

Our Workshop Studio
We have a delightful workshop studio within our quirky little shop, providing a welcoming environment that is a meeting place as much as a craft studio – somewhere you can feel at home, learn a new skill and enjoy unleashing your creativity while connecting with other crafty folk.
Yearning for something more creative, fun and fulfilling, so the workshop studio came into being!
Crafts of all kinds are welcome and there are no rules to what can happen inside the space. If you have a cool idea (the quirkier the better!) please get in contact because we love to collaborate!

We host a variety of workshops and event experiences which we customise for private gatherings such as birthdays, hens party, baby showers and corporate events.
